Hard to believe that our little mister Eli is already 9 months old! Still very much a baby, but steadily approaching toddler-hood! Here's a quick glimpse back over the last 9 months:
And, now, for 9 things about our current favorite 9-month old!...
1. "Look at me, Mom! I'm cruising!!"
This is by far the newest, most exciting development. Even the day Grandma & Grandpa arrived, Eli was not yet pulling himself up. But, by New Year's, he figured it out and soon after was cruising around. Here he is pushing his high chair through the kitchen! Quite a change in one week!
2. His new-found mobility is making picture-taking (and diaper changes) increasingly difficult!!
3. Still a big, little guy!

At 9 months, Eli is in the 80% (down a bit) for weight & about the 60% for height. He weighed in at 22lbs 5oz. For comparison, Andrew was 22lbs. 14oz. at 15 months! :)
4. Everything goes in his mouth!
5. Loves playing with Andrew (& Daddy)!
6. This boy LOVES technology! Remotes, ipods, cellphones, cords, computers. If you leave them, he will find it! Currently, I am trying to pry my laptop screen from his little hands. See--he is coming for the computer! :)
7. Is (finally) a very happy guy! The shrieking, screaming, and hours of fussing have been replaced by squeals, raspberry blowing, giggles, and his newest trick, clapping!
8. Can hold his own bottles and regularly drinks from a sippy cup at meals!!
9. Still wants to have a little snuggle time every once in awhile!
He's gonna be ONE in a flash! We're really trying to soak up all these fleeting baby moments before they are gone and we have another toddler running around! :)
I had no idea he wasn't happy. All of his pictures look so happy all the time! I just worked on Fletcher's side-by-side pics for his 9 month post, I just want to wait until I have his stats to post it! My appt. keeps getting rescheduled!
