Andrew has been enjoying preschool so much and his learning is really starting to come together lately! He's getting his letter sounds down, sometimes attempting to sound things out, and tonight he showed off some of his newly acquired writing skills. He filled out Valentine's for 11 of his friends--writing their names and his. We did them together, but he wrote almost very single letter. It took over an hour total! :) But, he persisted and did the WHOLE thing. He even wanted to do an extra one for his teacher!
Then, he got to bring home the Sight Word Sack. So, we practiced those sight words again and then his homework was to write a sentence using some of the sight words. We came up with his sentence and he did a GREAT job writing it out. I helped show him how to try to stay in some of the blue lines (you can tell I wrote the "E" for Eli), but he did the rest.
This was the most "homework" he's had, so it was great to see him handle it so well and actually be really excited about it!
