The weather has been unusually nice this May. In fact, yesterday is was only in the low 70s!! SWEET! We had our last MOPS meeting in the morning, but with the weather being so nice, I couldn't stand just going home. So, I did something totally spontaneous (shocking, I know). I decided to take the boys to the zoo--just the 3 of us. Since it was the afternoon, we then met Daddy for a picnic dinner.
The whole afternoon and evening was great! We played at the zoo for close to 3 hours! We saw our usual favorite animals like the komodos. Plus, the newly remodeled orangutan exhibit was finally reopened!
I enjoyed playing photographer and capturing some cool shots of the animals! The tiger and orgutans were definitely the favorites of the day!
We had a great time at the zoo, then picked up some Jimmy Johns and met Daddy over to Tempe beach park for dinner. 
It was a really nice evening! And, great to be outside with such nice weather before it gets super hot! What a great May day! :)
