At lunch today, some coworkers put together little baby shower for me! It was nothing big or fancy-- just a little, nice lunch time get-together. We had AIMS testing today, so the math & science department had a free morning, allowing us longer than 25 minutes for lunch. So, they thought this would be the perfect day to do a lunch thing!
At the end, everybody wrote down their guesses for newbaby's birthdate! We have dates starting at March 23rd and going until April 5th. If this guy is like Andrew though, then they will all be wrong, as he wouldn't show up until April 8th or after. :) We shall see! Hopefully we'll have a little better idea in two weeks!
Today was our last "quick" Dr.'s appointment-- two weeks from today we start the weekly visits with internal exams and all that "fun" stuff. Other than my occasional sciatica issue and some swelling beginning, everything looks great--blood pressure was 122/76 (which is like my highest reading so far & still good), belly is measuring 34-35 weeks (right on target), the little guy is head down (let's hope he stays that way!!) and his heartbeat was about 144bpm. We can't believe how fast things have gone by and that there are less than 40 days until the due date! WOW!
