Yesterday, we had such a fun outing--a reunion with SO many church/school friends that I grew up with. I've known many of these people since I was in first or second grade--playmates, schoolmates, churchmates, neighborhoods, babysitters...in music groups together, plays, swim & volleyball teams, high school functions...
SO many memories, that account for huge parts of my childhood!!!
Over the years (since high school), I have seen most of those present at various functions--weddings, showers, open houses, funerals, but never so many together at once and never everyone's kids. So this was such a special treat.
We met at Encanto Park (a large park in a central Valley location) and spent a good few hours together!
We rode the train...
played on some other rides...
and played in the park with a fun stomp rocket!
There was a lot of catching up and visiting done...
and of course lots of time with each other's little ones!
Eli certainly enjoyed all the attention!
We tried and tried for a good group picture...
as you might imagine with 14 kids and all those adults, it was nearly impossible to get one where everyone is looking and looks good...
But, this one turned out pretty well!
It was such a lovely morning!
Hopefully we can see most everyone again before these kids are in high school! ;)
