Hard to believe that another month has flown by! I was naively thinking (hoping) that time might seem to go by a little slower if I was at home instead of working full-time. However, that isn't the case--time is moving just as fast as ever. And with Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, I think a new year will be here in a flash!
I can't believe Eli is already 7 months old and is "SOOOO big"! :)
With legs outstretched, he has definitely surpassed the crocodile!
At this stage, it is becoming increasingly difficult to take pictures of him as he wants to constantly be on the go and exploring...
From wrestling the croc...
...to rolling around...

...and continuing to roll himself right on over to the lego buckets.
This little guy has such an affinity for any kind of bucket or container type item! He even enjoys sitting in them!

He desperately wants to crawl and has been making very valiant efforts. However, he just can't seem to coordinate everything just yet. And, that is fine by us! Although it frustrates him so, we are perfectly content to hold off the fully mobile stage for awhile longer.
He "talks" all the time now and loves to have people around. If we leave the room, he often immediately gets quite upset, but all is usually restored once someone's presence is reestablished. And, he is loving watching and "playing with" other little ones. He continues to be completely enamored with his big brother, but also enjoys other kids and babies as well. Just this past weekend, he was able to meet with another future linebacker! This is Fletcher--a friend's son from high school who is just a little less than two weeks younger than Eli. This guy was born at 8lbs. 6oz and at his 6 month check he weighed in at 22lbs 5 oz!! So, needless to say these are two BIG little guys! :)
To really give some perspective, the little red-head in the middle will be a YEAR old this month and the three of them all look about the same size! :)
We're excited for the upcoming holidays and all the "firsts" those will bring for our favorite big little guy!
Such cute photos! I can't believe how much the little ones look like their respective mamas from good 'ol AHS! :)
