Family Photos...

...FAIL!!!

On Thursday, we headed out to get Eli's 6 month (ok...7 month) photos taken and to get a family shot just like we did when Andrew was a baby. Clearly, getting all 4 people looking & smiling is a feat that we have yet to accomplish--MUCH to mommy's chagrin. How do families with six...or twenty kiddos get a good picture?!?!

Lessons learned:

1. Do NOT attempt family photos at a studio without another family member or friend who the kids know. This will be a must from now on for getting these guys to look and smile.

2. Do NOT get pictures taken the day of a stomach bug...now, of course, there was no way to know this ahead of time, but it surely explains Eli's less than thrilled look in many pictures. Just a few hours after these were taken the poor little guy was throwing up everywhere. And now, Brian and I are down for the count as well. BLECK!

So, we went ahead and got it, not knowing if we would have the opportunity to do them again. Not terrible, but not as good as I was hoping for.

Both of them did much better in shots that we weren't in, so these two hanging next to the family photo should "cuten" things up a bit:

And, there are some priceless pictures of Eli--but I think I'll leave you in suspense for those awhile longer...maybe even until Christmas if I can hold out that long. :)
