Days 3, 4, & 5 :)

Wow! We have been busy! Wednesday we went to Australia Zoo, which was AWESOME! I got to go in the Wombat enclosure--fun! 

Thursday was a lot of fun--we went to a place called Tamborine Mountain, which was really neat! We found a great hiking trail--it looked very Jurassic Park. And, we went to a little winery where we took a Glow Worm tour. Very Cool!!!! From there, we went to Surfer's Paradise on the Gold Coast. The water was surprisingly warm--very nice! 

Yesterday, we went to a bushland area where it's possible to spot koalas. We didn't spot koalas unfortunately, but we did see quite a few kookaburras and some wallabies. One pair was even a mom & a little joey. So cute! After that, we had a nice lunch under the Story Bridge in Brisbane and then we headed to the Queensland Musuem before going to our rugby game.

Now, we are off for our last morning in Brisbane--to the WestEnd Markets with Pezzo & Emily. Then, we will catch a flight to the tropical north (Cairns) and this time tomorrow will be on a boat headed for the Great Barrier Reef. I am so excited I am practically giddy! :)
