Many people have been asking how Andrew is adjusting to life now that Eli is here. And, the answer is that (so far) he is doing great! There certainly have been a few moments of increased "neediness" and sometimes he is visibly more easily upset by things. But, overall it's been really good. He's often eager to help out and is concerned about where Eli is/how he's doing.
Some of the cute comments he's made in the past couple of weeks (admittedly, some of them are repeats of what he hears me say):
-In response to Eli screaming, "Oh honey!"
-"Look at that cute face"
-"Look at those cute eyes"
-"Love you baby brudder"
-"Wanna give baby brudder a kiss"
My personal favorite is that he likes to help sing to get Eli to calm down. His song of choice: "Dinosaur Train". Not exactly a lullaby (especially when sung at LOUD volumes in Eli's face), but an adorable & loving gesture nonetheless.
And if these anecdotes aren't enough, here's the "hard" evidence of the brotherly love around house:
Here's my favorite:
Doesn't Andrew look SO big?!
