Wow! Where did the month of June go? How can it be the last week of the month already?!
Other than one weekend of being sick, we've managed to have a lot of fun! I had planned to blog about some of our different outings separately, but always seemed to run out of time. So, here's a bunch of blog posts in one! :)
Our first outing this month was to one of Andrew's favorite places--Pump It Up. We met up with his BFF Avi (& family) for some good jumping time! They have so much fun! And, they are becoming much more independent--able to do most of the obstacles themselves. When we first took them, neither one was even two yet and they were SO cute with their short little legs and lack of balance:
My, how things have changed! Now they can actually jump & climb--and even go down the slide by themselves!! :) They have a great time together & give good hugs when it's time to go.
And, our month of June fun ended the same way it began--with another trip to Pump It Up. Only this time, we were with Kinley & new friend, Ethan. Neither Kinley nor Ethan had ever been and everyone seemed to have a blast! And, I loved it too as it was fun to visit with friends for over an hour!

And, during both trips, Eli happily hung out in his Moby wrap or car seat.

I'm sure it will feel like no time before he is in there jumping with his big brother!
In between these fun June jumping dates, we had an impromptu slumber party. Our friend Kalleen had an emergency medical issue that landed her in the hospital for a day or two. So, one night, Luke spent a few hours here around bedtime with us (and slept here for a little while). It was quite the treat for Andrew--Luke was here when we got home from swimming. So, the boys got some extra playtime and then we read stories on the couch before going to bed.
All the boys did great and thankfully, Kalleen is doing fine now!
Even with the summer heat, we also managed a morning outing to the park with Kim and Kinley! The kids had fun, but didn't last too long as it was just getting too warm. And, now, just a week later, it is too hot even at 8:30am to head over there!
Our other big outing for the month was meeting our new friends, Ethan & his mommy, Sara, at the Children's Museum. We had never been before, so were very excited when we were invited to join them. What a cool place!! It hasn't been open too terribly long (just a couple of years) and it's great!
Andrew had a great time! There are GREAT themed rooms & many different things to do. In the couple of hours we were there, we didn't even come close to doing all the different things. But, we did enjoy the pedal power exhibit & car wash...
"picking flowers"...
playing in the noodle forest...
"shopping" at the market...
and Andrew's two favorites: "Whoosh" and "The Climber! Very fun!! Andrew LOVED putting the colored scarves into the tunnels & watching them get sucked and shot out!
And, how cool is The Climber?!

It is 3 stories high & entirely enclosed with lots of different little areas and things to check out. Sara and I were able to just sit & chat while the babies looked something like this...
and while the boys had TONS of fun climbing and playing!
Such a great outing! Since we've been, Andrew has seen commercials for the museum on PBS and gets all excited saying, "hey, I go there with Ethan". We will definitely have to go back--the only downfall is that it is a bit pricey (would be basically $20) every time we want to go, so the year-long pass might be something to look into.
Between all these fun times & swimming lessons, we certainly have been busy. Now, we are looking forward to July & some time spent in the cooler Flagstaff air. :)
