It started on the plane....(after all, we had to document Eli's first plane ride and Andrew's special magna doodle plane present).

Overall, the plane rides were fine. A little bit of crying on Eli's part, but nothing too bad. For our first trip traveling with two and first ever family trip with a layover, I'd say we all did pretty well!!
The rest are my favorite "Mommy" shots from the trip--taken at the park by Grandma & Grandpa's house and at the Henry Doorly Zoo...

*Notice the common factor in ALL the pictures: the Moby Wrap! Eli finally seemed ready for the outward facing hold. It was great at the zoo, as he loved watching all the people and animals! What is hilarious about wearing the Moby, is that it always yields comments from strangers when we are out. At the airport, on the plane, at the zoo--it never fails! I'm asked what it is, if it's comfortable, where I got it, how it works, etc. etc. I feel like a walking Moby salesperson. And, too bad I'm not, because I seriously LOVE this thing!!!

so sweet! The moby and your little man look great on you! :o)
ReplyDeleteThat tree is HUGE! I know I've said this before, but I absolutely LOVE your baby's cheeks! L-O-V-E!
ReplyDeleteYes. The Moby is fantastic! I carry Joseph facing outwards when we go on walks a lot. I want to try the back carries for doing chores around the house though. I'll let you know if making one works out or if I crash and burn.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I didn't use a Moby but I did use slings and a Beco (similar to the Ergo.) I got stopped ALL THE TIME as well. It doesn't matter though because it's fun to talk about babywearing!
ReplyDeleteDo you use cloth as well? Cause that's a whole can of worms. Anyways, love the shot. Great job!
Cute pics! Love that one by the big tree!
ReplyDeleteOh my...your baby is adorable! Those blue eyes are so beautiful. Looks like a fun trip.
