Embracing the camera...

...and the last days of summer (even though, yes, I know it is technically fall).
This past weekend we had one last swimming evening at Grammy & Grampy's house. We're so eager for fall-like temperatures, but had yet another weekend of triple-digit heat. So, what better way to embrace those temps than to take a dip in the pool? The water was noticeably cooler than the last few times though--so much so that Andrew was shaking and got out a few times to snuggle up with the warm concrete and some towels.
Surprisingly, Eli didn't mind the cool water and just happily chilled out in his special float.
After a little while, we then had dinner outside, which has been typical of our swimming adventures this summer.
It was a nice time, but probably the last of the season as the morning lows are finally consistently in the low-mid 70s which cools the water off a lot. And, soon we'll have high temperatures a little closer to that number!

  5. I hear ya about the heat. In South Florida, one wouldn't know it's autumn. Nice shots.
