...cloth diapering!
It's official--we're trying cloth diapers. I did some research and found a type that seemed durable & inexpensive (for cloth diapers anyway), while still getting some really good reviews. Cloth diapers have come A LONG way in the last 30 years. In fact, there are SO many options, it truly is overwhelming! Different kinds, sizes, styles, fabrics, etc.
We went with this "knock-off" brand called Kawaii diapers. Here's Eli modeling the light green color he was sporting earlier today:
They are both comfy & cute and so far, seem to work pretty well. And, they've been way easier to clean and deal with than I thought they'd be (though, I think Brian still needs a little more convincing! :) ). We have 10 (the smallest package I could purchase) and have been using them sporadically the past few days. As we take baby steps into this new adventure, I plan to use them mostly exclusively during the day while I'm at home and for now, stick with the disposables while out & at night. If all continues to go well, we may purchase another package and use them basically exclusively. Wish us luck! :)
