Eli at 3 months...

It's hard to believe that a quarter of Eli's first year has already happened! WOW!
At 3 months Eli...
  • weighs in at more than 15 pounds
  • has discovered his hands and can't seem to keep his fists out of his mouth
  • still has a reddish/orange tint to his hair that gets comments almost everywhere we go
  • has developed quite the "cooing" repertoire and seems oh-so-close to giggling
  • often only wakes up to eat once between "8ish"pm-"6ish"am
  • still sleeps in the bassinet by our bed, though that will need to change very soon as he is getting too big!
  • has enjoyed time in his Bumbo seat, holding his head & neck very well
  • does better with tummy time, though honestly, doesn't get it as often as he "should" and doesn't yet seem to be close to rolling over from back to belly
  • is starting to grasp at toys
  • still has bad periods of fussiness, with what we call the "screech owl" cry, but those are at least less than a few weeks ago and...
  • is "Mr. Smiles" when he is in a good mood and gets all excited with full arms & legs flail at times when we talk to him
He's definitely transitioning out of the newborn stage and into that full, fun baby stage. So, it will be really fun to see all the changes the next few months. Here are his monthly crocodile shots--Andrew has taken a liking to be in them too! :)
I included this one month shot to see the size comparison. It's amazing how fast they grow! Quite a difference from May!
