I've had a wonderful time the past few days with one of my dearest friends!
Chrissta and I lived across the hall from each other our freshman year of college and we've been friends ever since--sharing everything from little silly moments, serious & sad moments, adventures (like trips to Europe), and big, life changing things, like weddings...
and babies...
She came to see us just a few weeks after Andrew was born and now had to make the trip again to meet Eli! :)
I can't wait until the tables are turned this winter & I get to visit her to meet a new, precious little one!!
Andrew was so excited that "Cwissta" was coming and got attached to her rather quickly. And he loves the new dinosaur book she brought with her, which he asked her to read on numerous occasions (along with playing "Buzz" and cars!) :)
Even when we weren't doing anything at all, it was so great to have her here. How I wish that we lived closer so that we could see each other more often!
As visits with good friends tend to do, the time went by entirely too fast & in a flash, it was time for her to head home. Andrew has been asking lots of questions (as tends to be his "MO") lately about where she went & why she had to leave. It is clear that Andrew (and his mommy) don't want to let another year-plus pass before we see our dear "Cwissta" again.
