I once again took advantage of Fry's taking competitor coupons. Armed with loaded ecoupons to my card, a huge stack of cut coupons, and some competitor coupons (including a save $5 off $50 and catalina's for $3.50 off), I headed out to get numerous deals at Fry's and a couple at Albertson's (lucky for me, they are right across the street from each other).
So, here's what I got:
I've heard some people say that they would never use anything that you get coupons for from the paper...or that it is all for junk. But, I beg to differ. Now, there are certainly some "junky" items there like Toaster Strudel and cookies for instance. However, there are also two bottles of V8 Fusion juice, two bottles of Knudsen all natural "Just Cherry" Juice, two boxes of Cascadian farms organic granola, 5 ThinkThin Protein Bars, 6 cans of Progresso Soups, and Greek Yogurt. Plus, there are "everyday" items there too, like 4 boxes of kleenex, 4 RightGuard deodorants, 2 bottles of body wash, hand soap (and not pictured, a bag of PurinaONE dog food and cat food). And, my total included (not pictured) one bunch of bananas, 5 Gala apples, a bag of salad, and two bags of organic red grapes. Of everything that I bought, the only items for which I didn't have coupons was the Kraft Parmesan cheese and the fruit.
So, what did I spend for that cart full of groceries?
Before coupons and store deals, my total should have been $220.44....
The Knudsen juice, granola, pet food, and protein bars alone would have totaled...$43.22...
I saved $48.54 just from cutting & loading coupons...
When it was all said & done, I paid $55.82 which is almost a 75% savings!!
For these items here, I MADE 85 cents:

That's right, with coupons they were all free, plus two of them gave me an overage that applied to the rest of my order. Seriously, what is not to love about getting free products?!
